The Heritage Garden on the west side of the Museum is a permanent living exhibit with an outdoor education area, native plants, pollinator plants, wildflowers and grasses.
In addition, we signed a contract with local sculptor, Tanner Loren, who created a bronze sculpture for the Heritage Garden that enhances the experience of our garden and memorializes the original pioneers that built our town.
Two smaller version of this project are available for purchase as well. Take a piece of historic downtown Cody Wyoming for your very own home! Stop in to the museum and see the 1/4 life sized rendition of this beautiful sculpture!

The garden is established and continues to flourish each year. This summer enjoy new annual plantings in the historic claw footed bathtub, original to the
1907 DeMaris House.

The Heritage Garden includes a meandering sidewalk through the garden that is lined with memoriam and honor brick pavers. The paver program began in 2021 and is going very well. Many bricks are already in place. You still have a chance to recognize your family. The bricks are $225 each (additional $10 for third line). A form to purchase and order your family paver is available below.
